Worcestershire Ambassadors

The Worcestershire Ambassadors is a group of influential
individuals who care passionately about the future health and
prosperity of the county.
Drawn from senior positions in commerce and
the public sector and supported by Worcestershire County Council,
the Ambassadors share a common enthusiasm to create a county to be
proud of.
In addition to influencing and working with
the council, the Ambassadors champion many social causes and have a
history of supporting a number of local charitable efforts.
Members get together frequently to understand
the commercial opportunities within the county, learn about each
other's businesses and discuss matters that affect the county's
competitiveness.
The Ambassadors take a holistic view of the
county and have forged strong working links with the County
Council, Chamber of Commerce, Institute of Directors and
University.
Our regular meetings with senior council
representatives ensure that we have an opportunity to influence
business policy decisions at an early stage.
Through regular networking events, we showcase
and promote successful businesses, attractions and initiatives
within the county. For example, recent visits have been made
to:
- Stourport Basin Regeneration Project
- West Midland Safari Park
- PostCode Anywhere
- Droitwich Canal Renovation
