Flood Warnings and Alerts in Worcestershire (May
2)
A number of Flood Warnings and Alerts have been issued
across Worcestershire. For the latest information regarding
flooding please visit the
Environment Agency website. For up-to-date weather
information please visit the Met Office website.
If you spot a problem please get in touch and let us know via
the online 'Report It' section on the County Council's website
or through The Worcestershire Hub on 0845 607 2005.

Travel News (updated 10am, May 3)
Hanley Road, Upton upon
Severn: is closed due to river flooding. Further
updates will be made available on this page.
The flooding is now receding and the
latest news is that the following transport services will be soon
operating normally:
362 bus service (Worcester –
Upton – Malvern): With effect of the 0907 from Worcester
this service (and the 363) will resume its normal timetable. It is
possible that the rivers may rise again on Saturday so we will keep
the
flood timetable on the County Council website.
363 bus service (Worcester – Upton –
Malvern): With effect of the 1030 from Great Malvern this
service (and the 362) will resume its normal timetable. It is
possible that the rivers may rise again on Saturday so we will keep
the flood timetable on the County Council website.
Connections to/from Malvern will be provided
by Service 44 – Tickets will be accepted to/from Service 44.
Details of alterations to school buses this afternoon are being
supplied directly to the schools concerned.
382 (Worcester – Norton – Defford –
Eckington – Pershore): This service has now reverted to
operating to its normal timetable because Eckington Bridge has now
re-opened. It is possible that the rivers may rise again over
Saturday so we will keep the flood timetable on the website.
550/551 (Worcester – Pershore –
Evesham) : This service has now reverted to operating to
its normal timetable because Jubilee Bridge in Fladbury has now
reopened. It is possible that the rivers may rise again over
Saturday so we will keep the flood timetable on the County Council
website.
