The Community Leadership Service brings together a number
of key teams that all work towards creating stronger communities
and improving the council’s links with local people.
Warmer Worcestershire
The Warmer Worcestershire
project is aimed at reducing carbon emissions in the county by
increasing energy efficiency in homes and businesses, particularly
where high levels of heat loss are identified. The project
aims to encourage residents to insulate their homes in order to
save money, reduce carbon emissions and ensure good
health.
Consumer Relations
The Consumer Relations
Unit is responsible for managing all types of
representations (comments, compliments and complaints) about County
Council services, including statutory Social Care Services
functions.
Marketing & Communications
The County Council's
Press Office
consists of three officers dedicated to responding to media
enquiries and providing the media with up-to-date and
relevant media
releases to keep people informed about the services that affect
them.
Research & Intelligence
Figures, Statistic and Charts including
Economy, Housing, Local Area Profiles and Population
Voluntary & Community Sector
At
Worcestershire County Council we recognise the vital work of
individuals and organisations in the
VCS who deliver valuable services to local
communities (and are often better placed to do so than the County
Council itself).
