Consumer Relations is responsible for managing all types of representations (comments, compliments and complaints) about County Council services, including statutory Social Care Services functions.

The Consumer Relations Unit:-

  • Monitors all representations;
  • Independently investigates complaints;
  • Produces reports with recommendations for improving services;
  • Provides statistical data and analysis for all Directors;
  • Advises and assists in staff training on complaints handling.
