The Countryside Service occasionally organises guided walks and events throughout the year on its sites and in the wider countryside.

Upcoming Walks, Events and Courses

Hunnington Guided Walk - 14 May 2014

Hunnington Guided WalkA circular walk of three and three quarters miles around the parish of Hunnington using field paths with two stretches of footway along Bromsgrove Road. Led by Stuart Smith Parish Paths Warden.

Ramblers 'Get Walking Week'

Spa Walkers Walking Week1) Monday 5th May: An 8 mile circular walk around Droitwich. Afternoon tea £4 at Salwarpe Church just 30 minutes before the end. Start Droitwich Leisure Centre 10.30

2) Wednesday 7th May: A 2.4 mile walk to Salwarpe. Coffee & cake £4 at half time at Salwarpe Church. Start Droitwich Leisure Centre 10.30.

3) Thursday 8th May: The Hadzor circular 4 miles. Coffee at Gaudet Luce Golf Club after 3 miles. Start Vines Park by the walk information boards 10.30

'Orchard Cafe' Events at Worcester Woods Country Park

The Orchard Cafe at Worcester Woods Country Park organise various events during school half-term holidays and bank holidays. For information on what's on offer visit the Orchard Cafe (External Website).

Regular Health Walk Opportunities in Worcestershire

County Museum Service

Worcestershire County Council's County Museum Service also hold many events throughout the year - visit their events pages for more information

Volunteer Days

  • Hartlebury Common 3rd Saturday of each month, 9.30am to 3pm
  • Worcester Woods Country Park every Thursday 10am to 3pm
  • Waseley Hills Country Park every Wednesday 10am to 3pm
