The Severn Way

210 miles / 337 kilometres

Severn Way

There's something rather romantic about following natural features in the landscape, whether it's a mountain range, a coastline or in this case a river.

The full route of The Severn Way is 210 miles long, Worcestershire is proud to manage 31 miles through the County.

The Worcestershire Way

31 miles / 50 kilometres

Worcestershire Way

Hugging the western edge of the County as it borders Herefordshire; the Worcestershire Way really is an opportunity to explore outstanding rural landscapes.  At 31 miles, the route passes through beautiful sleepy villages and verdant steep sided valleys between the Georgian Town of Bewdley and the grand spa town of Malvern.

The Wychavon Way

41.5 miles / 67 kilometres

Wychavon Way

An exciting update to Worcestershire's walking opportunities comes in the form of a revised route of the Wychavon Way, due to be launched in Spring 2012.

Developed as a partnership between Wychavon District Council and Worcestershire County Council, this route will now stay in the district of Wychavon – starting in Droitwich Spa (following much of the original route up until north east of Fladbury) and finishing in Broadway, taking in Pershore and Bredon Hill.

North Worcestershire Path

37 miles / 59 5 kilometres

Waseley Hills

Crossing the north of the County, the North Worcestershire Path is surprisingly diverse.  The walk will allow you to discover ancient royal hunting grounds, sites of special scientific interest, dense woodlands, a river valley, reservoirs and farmland, with fantastic views across the contrasting landscapes of the Birmingham Plateau and the Black Country in the north, to the rural beauty of the Worcestershire countryside in the south.
