The Severn Way

There's something rather romantic about
following natural features in the landscape, whether it's a
mountain range, a coastline or in this case a river.
The full route of The Severn Way is 210 miles
long, Worcestershire is proud to manage 31 miles through the
County.
 |
As Britain's longest river, the Severn offers
explorers the opportunity to discover a wide variety of landscapes
ranging from the dramatic Cambrian Mountains in Mid Wales, through
deep gorged valleys and onto the rolling pastureland of its
southern reaches before meet the confluence with the Celtic
Sea.
|
If incredible landscapes weren’t enough, the Severn Way spoils
its visitor by uncovering fascinating industrial history, quaint
villages, historically important towns and cities, with welcoming
places to eat, drink and stay.
The Severn Way Walkers' Guide gives helpful
advice and phone numbers, planning information, colourful photos
and an easy to follow route map and text.
|
Whether you are doing the whole route in one
go or in sections or are just looking for a day out, it offers lots
