Cycle Journey Planning
Planning your trip beforehand can help you cut
down on your journey time. These services can also provide useful
information on distances, calories used, and a rough idea of how
quiet or busy your chosen route will be.
CycleStreets
CycleStreets uses data from OpenStreetMap, a publicly
available dataset of streets, roads, cut throughways, off road
paths, cycle facilities and bike shops. It recommends direct
or quiet routes dependent on the users needs.
CycleStreets also has a CycleStreets iPhone/BikeRoute Android
app.
For more information, please visit the Cycle Streets website.
Sustrans

Sustrans maintains the National Cycle Network and it has online
mapping and an iPhone application for the National Cycle
Network.
