Shared Lives
The Shared Lives Scheme (Formerly the Adult Placement
Scheme)is family based care for vulnerable adults. Our
purpose is to provide a range of quality services across
Worcestershire, which enable vulnerable adults to share in family
and community life and which promote the strengths and abilities of
each individual.
The Shared Lives Scheme accepts referrals for vulnerable
and disabled people over the age of 18.
People who are able to access our services:
- People with physical disabilities
- People with learning disabilities
- People with sensory impairments
- Users of mental health services
- Older people
- People with acquired brain injuries
- Carers
