The Local Transport Plan

The Third Worcestershire Local Transport Plan (LTP3) was
adopted in February 2011.
The plan focuses on attracting and supporting economic
investment and growth, by delivering transport
infrastructure and services to tackle congestion and improve
quality of life.
It is consistent with Worcestershire's
Sustainable Community Strategy and emerging Worcestershire District
Core Strategies, responding to the strategic objectives of the
economy, community, climate change and reducing deprivation.
The LTP3 provides the policy and strategy
context for our major transport projects and enables us to bid for
additional Government funding over the next 15 years. It will also
help us secure funds from development and ensure these are properly
used to improve the efficiency of our transport networks.
