Carewise
Choosing your support, your way.
Carewise is a free
listing of services and activities to support the care needs and
general wellbeing of the people of Worcestershire.
Carewise (Care Worcestershire Information
Service) has been developed as a result of a partnership between
the County Council and leading voluntary and community
organisations in the area. Anyone wishing to access this
information is free to use the system directly or approach any
local information and advice service (such as the Access Centre,
Hub or DIAL) who will be able to use the system when responding to
your query.

Carewise undergoes major
facelift
In response to user feedback, and working closely with partners
in ACS and the Voluntary Sector, the system's been updated to make
it even more user friendly and to help people quickly find the
information they need.
Jane Longmore (Support Services Manager of Age UK
Herefordshire & Worcestershire) said "Working in
partnership with a range of organisations across the county meant
that the development of this knowledgebase has taken into account
the needs of people who are using it – allowing them to make
informed decisions about their care and support through a choice of
providers and organisations which are simple to find."
Updated features include improved search options, a new easy to
navigate page layout, compatibility with screen reading software
for people with a visual impairment and a 'what's new' feature on
the front page to help keep users of the system up to date with
exciting new services and events.
Andrew Morley, (ACS Access Manager) said "Having
listened to feedback we are excited to be able to develop the
website to better meet the changing needs of its users.
Carewise was created to be used by anyone and we rely on the good
will and support of all the users to help us maintain, update and
develop the system on their behalf."

The new look website launched on the 14th November and can be
