Family Advice and Supprt at the Early Help Hub

Early Help Hub will put you in touch with links to local services that support children, young people and families. The Early Help Hub provide free, impartial information and advice to families with children aged 0-19 years of age on all the following areas:

  • Childcare
  • Sport and leisure activities
  • Rights of working parents
  • Support services for families
  • Support for children with special needs and/or disabilities
  • Parenting groups, courses and support

The Early Help Hub also gives information to people who want to work with children, young people and their families.

The Parent Partnership Service (PPS)

The Parent Partnership Service offers information, advice and support for parents of children and young people on all the following:

  • Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Bullying
  • School Exclusions
  • Choice of Schools

They also put parents in touch with other local organisations.

The PPS ensures that parent's views are heard and understood and that these views inform local policy and practice.
