Rail is the fastest and most reliable (surface) mode of
transport. In Worcestershire, most of our larger urban areas have a
rail station, which offers a fast and stress free alternative to
driving, particularly if you are going the distance!
Redditch - Alvechurch - Barnt Green - Birmingham. Rail services
have now resumed on the Redditch line following the summer closure
and will run to the previous timetable. Please note that if you are
travelling from Alvechurch, trains to Birmingham will now leave
from the new platform - platform one. Trains to Redditch will
continue to use the older platform - now known as platform two. A
new timetable will begin in December with additional trains
throughout the day on the Redditch line.
