<< Back to Recycling and Waste main page

The County Council presently manages nine closed landfill sites in Worcestershire.

A Closed Landfill site is no longer used to tip waste; it has been capped and is often grassed over. Adjacent to four of the Closed Landfill sites, Hanbury, Hallow Road, Quantry and Bilford, Household Recycling Centres are available

Further details of individual sites can be found by clicking on the site name in the index list.

List of Closed Landfill Sites

There are many private landfill sites in the county. The County Council has no responsibility for these sites. If you require information regarding current or old privately owned landfill sites, please contact the Environment Agency.

In addition, information regarding the Contaminated Land Register and Environmental Health enquiries should be directed to the Worcestershire Regulatory Services Team.  For other information visit our Useful Links page.
