Information on Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

Worcestershire Professional Learning and Development Online (PLD Online External Website) is a website that has been developed to support the continuing professional development of Schools, County Council staff and third party organisations.

The website is based online and includes a searchable directory of learning opportunities. These are provided by a range of approved training providers, and are available to book online. The aim of the system is to develop the professional skills of users, creating a highly skilled workforce across Worcestershire.

Worcestershire PLD Online allows system users to identify appropriate development opportunities available to them and records a portfolio of users' development. The site has been developed to include a dedicated link to training opportunities for different workforce sectors across the County Council.

All you need to access the system is access to the internet and a user account. Most schools already have this set up for them (it is the same as the Edulink user account), but users and organisations are also able to request an account online individually.

Courses for schools can also be found on the Edulink (External Website).
