The Centre offers a wide range of curriculum based visits for schools, outreach programmes, accredited forest school training, a programme of CPD courses and a fantastic outdoor learning environment. There's also a successful vocation based learning programme for students aged 11 to 19. Offering an ideal environment for staff training and away days, either with staff leading or facilitating, the Centre also has a variety of rooms suitable for training, meetings and conferences. Catering is from local caterers who use local suppliers where possible and all refreshments are Fair Trade. Bishops Wood is a unique 70 acre site located just off the A449 towards Stourport, 15 minutes from Junction 6 of the M5.

Museums Worcestershire

The joint Worcestershire County Council and Worcester City Council Museums Service provides activities for schools and other organisations across the key stages through our sites at Worcester City Art Gallery & Museum, The Commandery and Worcestershire County Museum at Hartlebury. We also offer our outreach service, 'Museum on the Move', and a collection of historic objects available for loan.

With changes to the National Curriculum due in September 2014, Museums Worcestershire are keen to work with you to provide relevant and appropriate resources to support your chosen curriculum topics. Do contact us to discuss your requirements and how we can work together to achieve inspiring learning experiences for your pupils.
