Reach Review
The Worcestershire Comprehensive Reach Review is a peer review
programme, where services for the learning disabled are reviewed
from the perspective of the service users themselves.
A team of trained service users are now out there - Doing It For
Themselves!
This is a national pilot programme being run by the Learning
Disability Service at Worcestershire County Council in association
with Paradigm.
Reach Review Information
The Learning Disability Service and Supporting People want to
know if people using supported living services are:
- Getting good support
- Like where they are living
- Like who they live with
- Enjoying their lives
We are checking supported living in Worcestershire - this is
called a Reach Review.

We will be using 11 standards called Reach Standards.
We want you to help us with the review. We need help from:
- People who use support services
- Friends and relatives of people who use support services
- People who provide support services
- Other people involved in the lives of people who use support
services

You can help by:
Talking to the review team
Two of the REACH team will meet with you and ask you simple
questions about what you think about where you live. You can choose
the time and place that they come to, and your support worker can
be there if you want them.
All learning disabled services commissioned by Worcestershire
County Council will now need to be REACH compliant.
