FIP (Focused Improvement Plan)
It is an Early Years plan written in
response to areas identified during the self evaluation process.
Specific actions are planned to address improvement over a
realistic timescale, matched to the resources available. Staff
responsibility is allocated to these actions.
A designated place where children can come when they have no one
to play with. Other children are encouraged to regularly stop by
and interact with the child that has no one to play with.

Within the SLCN Pathway :

childminders, children's centres, nurseries, pre-schools,
- The use of parents refers to
parents and carers.
Highlighting the importance of speech, language and
communication across the children's workforce and to enable
practitioners to access the best training and expertise to support
the communication needs of all children.
