Gala Concert

Cello sectionThe Annual Gala Concert will take place at Symphony Hall, Birmingham on Sunday 18th May and will showcase the achievements of Worcestershire's young musicians of all ages and abilities. All of our county ensembles will be performing along with combined Area Music Centre orchestras. Also performing will be pupils from Chadsgrove, Rigby Hall, Vale of Evesham and Regency Special Schools combined choirs, and Prince Henry's High School Barbershop choir. A new element to this year's event will be dancing from Bishop Perowne CE College, Christopher Whitehead Language College and Hagley Catholic High School, as well as performances by Fusion and Wyre Dance Troupes. You can guarantee a few surprises this year too!

This year the event will be compered by Deputy Lieutenant of the county Peter Tomlinson.

Tickets are priced at £16 each and are available from the Symphony Hall website.

This year Worcestershire Youth Music will be  reducing its paper usage and mailing costs by posting all announcements and documentation on this page. If you require hard copies of any of the documents, or have any general queries about the event, please contact Jayne Taylor on 01905 425611 or email jtaylor7@worcestershire.gov.uk
