1.   Apologies and Declaration of Interests

To invite any Councillor to declare any interest in any of the items on this Agenda.

2.   Public Participation

To allow a member of the public to present a petition or ask a question relating to the functions of the Council, or to make a comment on any matter on the agenda.

Members of the public wishing to take part should notify the Director of Corporate Services in writing or by e-mail indicating both the nature and content of their proposed participation no later than 9.00am on the working day before the meeting (in this case Wednesday 10 September 2008). Further details are available on the Council’s website. Enquiries can also be made by ringing 01905 766607 or e-mailing jhigginbotham@worcestershire.gov.uk .

3.   Minutes

To approve as a correct record and authorise the signing of the Minutes of the meeting held on 26 June 2008  (pink paper – previously circulated on 9 July 2008).

4.   Chairman’s Announcements

To receive any announcements to be made by the Chairman.

5.   Visit of the Chief Fire Officer

7.   Reports of Cabinet Members with Responsibility

To receive reports from

8.   Question Time

  • it is delivered in writing to the Director of Corporate Services by noon on Monday 8 September 2008, or
  • it relates to urgent business, the Director of Corporate Services is notified at least half an hour before the start of the meeting).

13.   Notices of Motion

To receive the report of the Director of Corporate Services on any Notices of Motion received by him (lilac pages). This is a link to a PDF file. (82.25 KB)  Councillors are asked to note that any Notices of Motion must be received by the Director of Corporate Services no later than noon on Thursday 4 September 2008.

NOTES
Luncheon will be available at 1.00pm or thereabouts. This will be provided for all Councillors, without payment, and for pre-notified guests, who must be paid for in advance.  An indication of guests should be given to Mrs Audrey Sidwell in the Member Support Unit at least three days before the Council meeting.
