North
East Worcestershire College
Us and Our health presents an engaging and refreshing look at the complexities of identity and tells stories revealing the ways in which adults with learning disabilities see themselves and their health. The performance was accompanied by a post-show discussion.
The performance represented the culmination of collaborative work between award winning Women and Theatre, adults with learning disabilities from Day centres across Worcestershire and the theatre and the Community Foundation Degree students from North East Worcestershire College.
This DVD is a record of the process and also a training resource that is designed to raise awareness and promote discussion around health inequalities faced by adults with additional needs.
