Planning Advice

• Advises on 6000 planning applications and other consultations p.a.
• c4% of all planning applications lead to some form of archaeological input
• The following table summarises the range of advice provided as part of the development control process  on an annual basis

Fieldwork

• c100 field projercts are undertaken every year
• The Field Section has produced over 1,500 archaeological reports (many of which are now available on line at http://www.worcestershire.gov.uk/archaeology/library

Every year the Service provides:

• c.20 guided walks
• 70 talks to local groups and societies
• local exhibitions
• Work experience programme for local schools
• annual Dayschool
