Heather Trail at Hartlebury Common

Perhaps this trail is best in summer when the heath is a carpet of mauve Heather attracting colourful butterflies and bees. Or maybe autumn when the trees are turning gold and yellow and patterned fungi clings to the bark. Some would prefer the middle of winter, with the crisp clarity of the views.
