Bishops Wood Centre sits in the grounds of the National Grid Substaion and National Grid not only supports this Centre but a network of other Environmental Education Centres.

The College was involved in the construction of the centre. Its environmental management  consultancy and training unit offers a range of support to businesses with environmental management in the work place.
