We regret that we are unable to take telephone bookings. However, do feel free to ring and check on charges, suitability of programmes etc. In all cases we will then ask you to submit a booking form online (which is cheaper) or by post.

Bullet Point Places are allocated as follows:

Autumn Term: by July in the previous term.
Spring Term: by November of the previous year.
Summer Term: by December of the previous year.

Bullet Point Allocation

Places are allocated in the order that booking forms were received, but to make best use of the days available and ensure compatibility between programmes being undertaken by different classes on the same day, we assemble most of the requests before allocating days.

Bullet Point Late Bookings

There are usually some free days during the Autumn and Spring terms for schools booking late. However, we often have to disappoint schools booking late for the summer term as most applications are received up to a year in advance. Bullet Point Booking Conditions and Costs

Worcestershire LA schools: For visits from September 2008 until further notice, the cost of a visit to Bishops Wood is £140.00 per class of up to 30 pupils. A few of the programmes that we run can accommodate up to 33 pupils maximum at a cost of £5.00 for each child over and above 30 in any class/group.

Out of County schools and private schools: For visits from September 2008 until further notice, the cost of a visit to Bishops Wood is £200.00 per class of up to 30 pupils. A few of the programmes that we run can accomodate up to 33 pupils maximum at a cost of £7.00 for each child over and above 30 in any class/group.

Please note that a 50% cancellation fee may be charged for cancellation within 4 weeks of visit and 100% within 24 hours.

Please be aware that we add a £15 administration fee if our online system is not used.
