Celebrating world class music is the acclaimed Three Choirs Festival, an international classical music festival performed by world class artists and ensembles... "music at its exhilarating & uplifting best".. (rotates between Gloucester, Worcester & Hereford).
Or if food and drink is more your thing check out the Pershore Plum festival. The town of Pershore goes 'Plum Crazy' for a month long festival culminating in the Plum Fayre - a celebration of the fruit for which Pershore is internationally renowned.... or there is the unique Asparagus Festival held at The Fleece Inn at Bretforton, near Evesham. This starts with the annual asparagus auction which raises funds for the village band and bidders include chefs from some of London's top hotels.
Worcestershire is also home to the Three Counties Show at Malvern which is the oldest argricultural show starting in the 18th Century. Whether you have a deep rooted love for all things rural of just love a fun day out in the heart of the countryside, the Three Counties Show encapsulates everything the countryside has to offer.
Or how about a festival of Historic Air balloons, Boats and Classic Cars? A day filled with activities and rides culminating in a fantasic 'night glow' spectacle of Air Balloons, music, laser and pyrotechnics.
