| The Teenage Pregnancy Partnership aims to reduce the rate of under 18 conceptions in the county and support young parents to reduce their risk of social exclusion. In line with national targets set by Government, the Partnership aims to reduce conception rates in under 18s by 50% by 2010 from a baseline year of 1998. |

| The Teenage Pregnancy Partnership includes Worcestershire County Council, Worcestershire Primary Care Trust, Hereford and Worcestershire Connexions, Youth Suppport Service, Healthy Schools, Substance Misuse Action Team, Herefore and Worcestershire Youth Offending Service, Worcestershire Acute NHS Trust, Worcestershire Countil for Voluntary Youth Services and District Councils. |

New sexual health website for young people in Worcestershire goes online “Play it safe with your sexual health!” That’s the message from a new website set up to provide free and confidential advice to young people across Worcestershire. Playinitsafe.co.uk was designed in consultation with local young people and contains everything they need to know about sexual health, relationships, Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs), contraception, puberty and pregnancy. |

C Card Scheme The C-Card concept has been operating in other areas for a number of years and is seen as a good way for young people to access free condoms easily. Young people are given a C-Card (credit card size card) when they register with the scheme. Only youth support workers who are Tier 2 trained can give out a C-Card and initiate the scheme. |
