I joined the team in December 2005. My role is the coordination of the strategy to reduce teenage conceptions and support young parents in Worcestershire. I manage the Teenage Pregnancy Action Plan and ensure that all partners work together to achieve the aims of the plan. This invloves working across a variety of agencies which makes the job exciting. I orginally trained and worked as a midwife in Birmingham subsequently working at Wycombe General Hospital. Before coming to Worcestershire I worked for Slough Borough Council's Teenge Pregnancy Team. |

I joined the Teenage Pregnancy Team in 2006. The remits of my role include development and authoring of the Teenage Pregnancy & Parenting website for professionals. I also co - ordinate the training around personal relationships, sexual heath and the C - Card scheme, along with varied administrative and budgeting tasks and procedures. My role is diverse and no two days are the same. Prior to this I worked for youth support, still part of Worcestershire County Council and previously worked for the NHS in a training capacity. |

I joined the team in July 2008. My role is to lead on the new innovative C-Card Scheme across the County. I promote C-Card to young people and work with agencies towards implementing the Scheme within their organisation. I also co-ordinate media campaigns around the prevention of teenage pregnancies. Before coming to Worcestershire I worked for Redditch Borough Council as a Teenage Pregnancy Support Worker for Children’s Centres |
