What is flexiLINK?

flexiLINK is a new type of bus service that responds directly to your needs within your local area.  

In some cases flexiLINK operates to provide supplementary journeys to conventional bus routes, in others flexiLINK can connect with conventional bus routes, (see list of routes below).

The service is provided by modern, comfortable, easy to use buses with friendly, fully trained drivers and is inexpensive and extremely reliable.  

You simply telephone the flexiLINK booking line (on 08456 077 077 between 07-00 and 17-00, Monday to Friday).

The bus will be directed to pick you up from an arranged point close to home.  

Friendly, efficient staff take all calls personally.

Where will the flexiLINK service pick me up?

The flexiLINK bus will pick you up at a convenient point and time agreed when you call the booking line.  

The latest technology is used to pass these details on to the flexiLINK driver.

How much notice do I need to give?

You can book this service on the day of departure or you can book in advance (subject to the Call Centre opening times of 07-00 to 17-00 Monday to Friday).

We do ask that you allow at least half an hour before the bus departs.

Are flexiLINK buses easy to use?

The flexiLINK service uses modern, easy to use vehicles, with the facility to carry wheelchairs, pushchairs and shopping trolleys.  

All our drivers are trained to help passengers with special needs.

Where and when do flexiLINK buses operate?

  • Service 942 This is a link to a PDF file. (12.13 KB) - Operating in Blackpole, Brickfields, Tolladine, Warndon, Warndon Villages and Red Hill Top areas.  This includes Elgar Retail Park, Blackpole Industrial Estates, Shire Business Park, Warndon Coachway, Sainsbury's, Tesco, Lyppard Centre, Worcestershire Royal Hospital, County Hall, 6th Form College, the Blind College, Prestwich Avenue and Canterbury Road.
  • When? - Operates Monday to Friday, approximately hourly from 10-21 to 13-21.
  • Other information. - The Warndon flexiLINK  connects at various points along the route for buses to Worcester City Centre, it also serves Warndon Coachway for travel beyond Worcestershire.

  • Other information. - flexiLINK service 914 This is a link to a PDF file. (22.66 KB) is designed to connect with service 303 This is a link to a PDF file. (22.47 KB), which runs between Kidderminster, Hartlebury and Worcester / Worcestershire Royal Hospital.

  • Other information. - This service is designed to provide daytime travel from the villages into Redditch and Bromsgrove.
