Welcome to the Library and Information Service, providing access to information on all subjects, and contributes to the life of the community by providing books, spoken word cassettes, CDs, videos, DVDs, computerised information and Internet services.
There are 23 libraries and 5 mobile libraries covering the whole of Worcestershire. Libraries vary in size from large buildings on several floors to small part-time libraries.
The Joint Worcester Library and History Centre, a partnership between Worcestershire County Council and the University of Worcester and Worcester City Council, should be completed in 2010.
You can renew your books and search the Library Catalogue online now at the 24 Hour Library.
If you are over 16 you can now join the library by completing the online form and your ticket will be posted out to you.
