Time Travel made easy!

Great ways for pupils to learn and explore the past through interactive role play.

At the Musuem:

The Schoolroom

Our school ma'am, Miss Proper, will receive your class for instruction in the manner of Victorian times.  Appropriate costume can be provided.

Below Stairs

We invite your class to apply for the positions of Boot Boys and Scullery Maids.  Our Housemaid will set them to work using authentic equipment. Appropriate costume can be provided.

Activities in your school:

Life on the Homefront

Doris Dinsdale a World War II housewife brings to life the 'Home Front' of the early 1940s and shows children how to help the war effort.

All services are available to schools from Tuesday to Friday inclusive.  The Museum is closed on Mondays (when not a Bank Holiday.)
