As Electronic Records Manager: - Giving advice both to County Council employees and external bodies on the management of their electronic records.
- Looking after the Corporate Information Management Unit, alongside the Corporate Information Manager.
- Providing a link with the Record Office by looking at long-term preservation of electronic records, to make sure that they are available for future generations.
- Overseeing internal and external communication from CIMU
- Supervision of the Electronic Content Management system controlling the paper files
- Training Council staff in records management at all levels of the organisation, and linking with IT professionals to achieve best practice
