Worcestershire Eco Schools ~ a High School’s journey towards Green Flag!

Over the eighteen months leading to the summer term of 2007, Nunnery Wood High School took on a commitment to embed learning for sustainability across their school, using the International Eco Schools Award scheme as a delivery mechanism! The school organised a core team of staff to help bring this to life, connecting to the curriculum and facilitating a group of enthusiastic students that led the way on a variety of key actions with particular reference to the theme of Climate Change. We are delighted that in June 2007, just after these 5 film clips were made, the school was awarded their Green Flag, which we hope will be an inspiration to others.
