My Services

Kerbside Recycling Collections

If you have a Kerbside collection of recyclables, please try to use it - we would like to offer this service to as many households as possible, and we are including more every year.

Your collection is arranged and run by your DISTRICT council. There are several different schemes running in Worcestershire so please be sure to check which items your scheme takes.

What happens to the kerbside recycling?

It depends on your district collection scheme, but generally, the materials are sorted by type, compressed into bales and sent to a specialist recycler to be made into new items. This is done at our Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) or at the kerbside depending on where you live.

My Recycling went in the Bin Lorry!!!!

If you see your recycling being thrown into a refuse collection vehicle, please don't worry! Many of our bin lorries are made with two sections - one for waste, one for recyclables. They are called 'split body' vehicles. If you are not convinced, please ask the bin men if the recycling is being collected separately - if not, LET US KNOW and we will sort it out as soon as possible. call 01905 768257
