Community Archaeology Conference – June 2006

In order to engage with new audiences Unlocking the Past is seeking contact with similar initiatives around Great Britain and sharing local knowledge in return

To promote the wider aims of the Archaeology of Aggregates in Worcestershire, the Archaeology Service presented a paper at the first national Community Archaeology conference at University College, London, where it outlined a strategy for engaging new community groups, and heard comparative ideas about national outreach programmes.
