The Droitwich Canals Partnership was formed to restore the Droitwich Barge and Junction Canals to navigable standard thereby creating a unique 21 mile cruising ring. The partners are British Waterways, Droitwich Canals Trust, the Waterways Trust, Wychavon District Council and Worcestershire County Council.
Major awards have been made by the Heritage Lottery Fund and Advantage West Midlands in recognition of the project’s economic, social and environmental merits. The Partners are now close to achieving their target of the £11.5 million required to complete the project.
