'Perry's Picnic in The Park' - Saturday 25th July, 12.30am - 3pm at Waseley Hills Country Park

This is a special event for all young supporters of Perry Barr Retired Greyhound Trust, you don't have to be a Kid's Club member to attend, just bring a picnic and yourself. You will be able to meet Perry, take part in a treasure hunt around the park, have your face painted, find out all about greyhound care and make friends with other young people who love greyhounds.

Please come along and support us at this family event, entry is free so bring friends and family and of course your greyhounds. If you dont have a greyhound you are still very welcome to attend.

'Worcester Woods Bat Walk' – Thursday 6^th August, 8.30pm – 10pm at Worcester Woods Country Park

Join us for a batty evening as we meet some of the nocturnal residents of Worcester Woods Country Park.

'A Midsummer Night's Dream' - Thursday 13th August, 7pm at Worcetser Woods Country Park

Chapterhouse Theatre Company are bringing an open-air garden theatre production of Shakespeare's glorious romantic comedy to Worcester Woods Country Park. This magical evening is simply the best in family entertainment as flitting fairies, forest bound lovers and raucous tradesmen all join to create the perfect summer evening. With music especially written for Shakespeare's magnificent verse, lovely costumes and a splendid band of travelling players, this promises to be one of the best entertainments of the summer!

Every Monday lunchtime at 1pm - 'Worcester Woods Health Walk Group'

Free 30 minute lunchtime walks led by trained health walk leaders take place every Monday (except Bank Holidays) around Worcester Woods and the County Hall and Royal Hospital grounds.  Meet outside the Orchard Cafe and please wear suitable clothing and footwear.  Walking the Way to Health is a national initiative encouraging people to walk more for health gain.  More information on the benefits to health of walking more may be found at www.whi.org.uk
