Birtsmorton Court

Birtsmorton Court with its seductive mix of history, romance, informality and modern facilities is an exceptional venue for those who believe location can make all the difference to their special day.

The Court, with its gables, timber beams and moss covered crenellations dates back to 1241 and was for centuries the family seat of the Nanfans. Their achievements and alliances under the Tudors were recorded in the oak and plaster carvings in The Great Hall and it is here, in this historic setting, that you can choose to hold your wedding ceremony. Your reception can be held in the Court for smaller, more intimate events or in the Old Motor House for up to 150.

Birtsmorton Court provides a wonderful backdrop for photographs, with the gardens featuring an ancient yew where Cardinal Wolsey once sat before going on to fame and glory under Henry VIII.
