Five miles from Broadway, right off the beaten track near Evesham, is the Riverside Hotel, whose gardens, sloping down to the River Avon were part of Evesham Abbey's 15th century deer park.

Three cleverly converted 17th century cottages blend with the main house to create an elegant 1920's residence.

The bar has big sofas, deep armchairs and large windows overlooking the river, the ambience being that of a country house drawing room. The award-winning restaurant is a designated non-smoking area. The Vale of Evesham is famous for its fruit and vegetables and since the Hotel opened it has established an enviable reputation for splendid meals at a fraction of comparable London prices. Delicious home-made cream teas can now be enjoyed on the decking overlooking the River Avon.
