Friends of Bishops Wood Events 2008 - 2009

26th April 2009 Sunday 2.00pm – 4.00pm Easter Trail

A children's Easter Trail in the grounds of Bishops Wood, looking for the missing pieces of a puzzle. Discover the secrets of the animals and plants of Bishops Wood.

10th May 2009 Sunday 2.00pm - 4.30pm Bluebell Walk

Join us on a guided walk through our glades of blue as far as the eye can see. Learn more of the natural history and folklore of one of the nation’s favourite plants. An annual favourite.

14th June 2009 Sunday 2.00pm - 4.30pm Musical Picnic at Bishops Wood

Unfortunately we have had to postpone this event until next year, further details to follow when available.

4th July 2009 Saturday 10.30am – 3.00pm Eco-Festival

Join in our celebration of sustainability. Enjoy talks, displays, games, performances, art galleries, sustainable food and much more, in an amazing festival atmosphere, The culmination of a series of Eco-Schools events.

For most events the suggested donation is £3 per adult and £1 per child.

Members of Friends of Bishops Wood and their immediate families pay £2 per adult and children free.
