Malvern Hills Outdoor Education Centre is owned and operated by Worcestershire County Council. The Malvern Hills Centre is situated at the northern end of the Malvern Ridge. |
The site has an extensive set of Ropes courses, High Level Challenge Activities and Climbing Towers. The Hills provide other venues for abseiling, grass sledging and adventure walks or trek
In addition to the adventurous activities the centre runs a range of curriculum based outdoor and fieldwork opportunities catering from Key Stage 2 students to University and Adult groups. With accommodation for in excess of 90 students the main focus of a visit to the centre is the residential experience, incorporating activities designed to challenge and stretch participants. |

Although the main focus of provision at Malvern is residential there are limited opportunities for day courses.

Set within 9 acres of wooded grounds the buildings include some classrooms, dining room and dormitories dating from the 1914 open air school, with the addition of central heating and newly installed toilets and shower facilities. A mid-nineteenth century stone cottage which houses the administrative offices, North Block student accommodation and a self catering wooden chalet accommodation block and a modern central equipment store. Each accommodation block has access to a student common room and kitchenettes for making drinks (and toast!). |
