Terylene duvets and pillows are provided for all residents, as are sheets and pillowcases. Staff rooms are situated adjacent to dormitories. Showers and toilets are situated close by.
The Centre is visited regularly and inspected for fire protection and all dormitories have smoke detectors linked to the office and Duty Officer’s accommodation.
For Residential groups three meals a day are provided plus a supper of toast and hot drink or squash. Even the most choosy child will find a choice that will make sure they don’t go hungry. Vegetarians are catered for and healthy options including yoghurt and fruit are available at all meals. Arriving groups need to bring a lunch with them. A sandwich box and drinks bottle are essential items when groups go off site.
Special diets, including food allergies (nuts etc), must be notified but can nearly always be catered for. In a few cases, visitors will be advised to bring their own supplies.
