Anti-Bullying Co-ordinator
Worcestershire Children’s Services has recently appointed an Anti-Bullying Coordinator to coordinate work across the county. The role of Anti-Bullying Co-ordinator includes:
- To act as a point of contact for organisations in Worcestershire on all matters relating to bullying
- To offer advice, guidance and support to all parties (including parents/carers) on matters concerning bullying incidents.
- Advocating and advising on best policy and practice on how to prevent bullying, and how to respond to a situation when it occurs
- Drawing together existing good policy and practice in prevention of and response to bullying from settings across Worcestershire; highlighting and disseminating this information
- To gather and analyse data on the frequency of bullying in Worcestershire, and offer support in response to this

The 'W' Factor Stands up to Bullying
Finalists from Wychavon's talent show 'The W Factor' are turning their talents to address bullying. The W factor finalists and other local youth groups will be performing a medley of songs, dance, poetry and music that confronts issues around bullying. Arts workshops for aged 8 and over will also be running.
