A Project Board overseeing and steering the project is responsible for approving the Project Plan, for monitoring the delivery of the project against the Project Plan with particular focus on ensuring adherence to the agreed timescales, and for approving each stage of the project prior to moving onto the next stage.

The Project Board has clear Terms of Reference
(34.50 KB) which have been published and available to all stakeholers. The Project Assistant will organise meetings and be responsible for producing and distributing both agendas and minutes.
The Board meet on a regular basis at meetings set well in advance and timed to fit with the key milestones of the Project. However, the group may need to meet at short notice in order to respond to emerging issues that require action or direction.
