Welcome to The Revenue Section Homepage

The Revenue Section, situated within the Financial Services Directorate, is responsible for:

• Processing invoices and paying creditors of the Council
• Processing and administering debtor accounts
• Facilitating debt recovery and management
• Reconciliation and coding of central bank income and centrally received income
• Creation of Vendor & Customer Master Records
• Completing statutory returns as required
• Carrying out the dispatch requirements of Exchequer Services

Operational Structure:

Sharran Grove, the Revenue Officer, heads the section and is responsible for the day-to-day running of the section.  

Kate Evans is the Customer Relations and Development Officer for the Revenue Section and both report to Charles Cox, the Exchequer Manager.

The Section is divided into two teams - Input and Recovery.  Both Teams report to Sharran Grove, the Revenue Officer.

Input Team

Ruth Semper supervises the Input team and ensures the correct and timely payment of invoices to suppliers. This team also deals with the creation of Vendor and Customer Master Records & queries from vendors regarding payments made.

Recovery Team

Nicky Hardman supervises the Recovery Team and ensures the correct and timely coding of central bank income and centrally received income. She will ensure all debt recovery procedures are adhered to and all dispatch requirements of Exchequer Services are carried out. This team also deals with queries from customers regarding debtor invoices.
