What is Workwise?

Workwise offers:

The loan of a 50cc moped for a period of up to 12 months at a cost of £5.00 a week.

The Workwise scheme was set up to help people in rural areas overcome the lack of suitable transport to access opportunities in employment, training and further education.

Workwise will also pay for:

• The Compulsory Basic Training required by law (this is also required by the scheme regardless of the licence you hold)
• The safety equipment required i.e. helmet, gloves, reflective jacket and waterproof suit (A one off contribution of £25 is required towards the cost of this equipment.)
• Insurance of the vehicle (it is advised that you take out personal accident insurance)
• 24hr Breakdown cover
• Full maintenance and servicing
