We’re looking for a skilled and imaginative Web and New Media Officer to join our Communications Team to help us develop the best council website. We need to get more services online and more residents using the website to access services.
The role involves developing, designing, creating and maintaining web, DigiTV and intranet pages; driving performance improvements and demonstrating progress against national measures. The post will oversee our departmental Web Champs, train them in use of web content management systems and help them develop high quality content. The post also needs to represent Wychavon on County groups and ensure our voice is heard.
You will need a minimum of three years experience in web development/e-communications and a good working knowledge of application software and reporting tools. You’ll have a good eye for design and be able to write well. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to communicate with people at all levels are essential.
