Map of how to get to the library
We are located behind the village car park next to the community centre and field. The Library prides itself on its friendly and cheerful service. It is very much a part of the local community.
Our lending books can be borrowed for 3 weeks. We have a good selection of
books for all ages.
Our Adult Section has
fiction, large print and non-fiction books as well as a small local history and reference section.
Our
Young Adult Section is bright and inviting and sited away from the bustle of the
junior library with a handy table for homework!
The Children's
Library is well stocked with board books for babies, picture books and storybooks for older children.
We have a large range of junior non-fiction books to help with homework too.
Audio
Books are available for loan at a cost of £1.00 for 3 weeks. DVDs are
available to hire for one week at a cost of £2.75 per week. We have a good selection of feature
films and some fantastic children's DVDs in stock.
We have a scanner
within the library that can offer black and white copying facilities.
We have free internet access on two computers that are available for public use. The computers don't just have internet but have a wide range of facilities including word processing, iTunes and Google Earth. There is a booking system inplace for the computers and we advise you to telephone the library to book a time to avoid disappointment.
We offer free taster sessions within the library. These last up to one hour and can be tailored to suit your needs. There is a waiting list in place for these sessions. If you are interested please contact Hagley Library on [t] 01562 883441.
As well as our books, DVDs and story tapes, there is always a lot going on in the children's library. It is a bright, safe environment where parents and children regularly meet up with friends to chat, a detailed programme of our events can be found on our children's activities page.
