Microfilm Copies

You can order a copy from parish registers, census, wills and some other records that we have on microfilm. To do this you will need to provide exact references, as we are unable to do extensive research on your behalf. Due to the number of enquiries we receive, we are also unable to carry out more than 4 copies from a film or multiple orders.  Full details of our enquiry policy can be found here  (35.50 KB).

Please fill in the form with as much information as possible.

We will then check to see if the entry you want can be found and can be copied.

Please note: you will not be able to pay for the item immediately. An e-mail will be sent back to you to tell you if we can supply it or not. If we can there will be a link to follow to go ahead with the payment and order. If we cannot do it for you we will send you an e-mail to explain why.

The order will then be sent within 7 working days.

The cost is a flat fee of £5.00, including up to 4 sheets and Postage and Packing.

All copies are supplied for your own personal use and research. If you intend to use them for publications or commercial use you will need to speak to us first.

Microfilm Copies Once you add this item to your basket you will be forwarded to a form, which you can use to enter details regarding your purchase.

Please note that we may not always be able to supply what you want. Sometimes entries may not be there, or the copy may be so poor that it is almost illegible. If this is the case we will let you know.

If you are unsure of the exact details, there is a researcher you can employ that we can recommend who can search on your behalf. Further details are here, although there are no e-payment facilities for this at present.
