Aspects of Life in 19th Century Worcestershire

The River Severn

The Severn is the longest river in the United Kingdom, spanning a total distance of 220 miles. In the early part of the 19th century, ti was heavily used for transportation of goods, but this fell into decline with the growth of the railway.
